Meet the Bakers

Yes, friends...it's that time of year. Thanksgiving is 13 days away & the malls & stores are already ready for the Christmas holidays. Carols blaring over the loud speakers, decorations EVERYWHERE...Santa has even made his debut at the mall. My picture today was taken outside of Santa's village. I was trying to take a picture of myself & a nice man walked up & offered to take it for me. Do you know how silly I felt when I had to decline & tell him it was a rule that I must take it myself...he must have thought I was nuts:)!! It was a special kids club today...Santa came. It was at a different time though & it was a MADHOUSE! No more evening ones for us...we'll stick with the morning kids club. What was so disturbing is that the kids were not the problem...it was the parents. When we got there it was already crazy. Bishop couldn't even get close to the stage where Santa would be because there were ADULTS in the way. I am not a rocket scientist but could the parents wait in the back or at least be a little organized so the KIDS can see. People frowning, parents pushing their way to the front of lines...I mean is a cookie sample or a balloon animal worth all that?! Bishop had a good time & that is all that mattered. He won a $5 gift card to Kay Bee Toys but I think he had a little help:). I am tired so I am going to close here...night!!
